200 watt Option for Fusion Pro 36 and 48 Now Available

Higher wattage allows for cutting through thicker materials, faster processing, and increased production volume.

Golden, Colo. – (Dec. 9, 2024) Epilog Laser, the leading producer of CO2 and fiber laser engraving, cutting, and marking systems, is excited to announce the company now offers a 200 watt laser option for the popular Fusion Pro 36 and Fusion Pro 48.

“While our 120-watt machines are already incredibly powerful and precise, customers continually ask for higher wattage options to allow them to cut through thicker materials and tackle more industrial applications,” said Mike Dean, vice president of sales and marketing for Epilog Laser, “so we’re very happy to offer this solution to help them meet those needs.”

With this new 200-watt option users can expect:

  • Increased Cutting Thickness: A 200-watt laser can cut through up to ¾” of acrylic and other organic materials.
  • Faster Processing: Boasting 165 inches per second engraving speeds, the higher power laser allows for faster cutting and engraving applications. This can be a significant advantage in a production setting where time is a factor.
  • Higher Production Volume: For businesses that need to produce large quantities, the increased power can help meet production demands by reducing the time required for each job.

In line with the rest of Epilog’s product offerings, the 200-watt Fusion Pro 36 and 48 come equipped with the IRIS™ Camera System, which gives laser operators a live-preview of the engraving table so they can quickly and accurately position their artwork on even the most uniquely shaped items.

The new 200-watt options are now shipping domestically and will begin shipping internationally in January 2025.
