The Denver-based digital video production company descended on Epilog's Golden, Colorado headquarters for two days of intense videotaping, and found the lasers to be highly photogenic.

“Our production team was blown away by the compelling images we were able to capture from these machines,” says Eagle Ridge Media's Jon Clark, the project's executive producer. “We always thought we had a great brochure,” explains James Stanaway, marketing manager for Epilog Laser, “but we thought we could tell the story even better through the use of video and an interactive format. We didn't realize how right we were.”

In addition to stunning close-ups of the laser in action, Eagle Ridge Media captured images of over 50 different samples covering dozens of retail and industrial applications. “The key to the success of this piece was the ability to maintain great quality pictures while incorporating the flexibility of CD-ROM,” adds Clark .
